Lessons
Alongside live performance and recording, Cain has spent many hours teaching hundreds of students guitar and bass both in schools and from his home studio in Derbyshire. Lessons are available both in person and via video call giving students the option to work as suits them best whether that be regular weekly lessons, a short term booster course, or more ad hoc bookings. Whether you’re taking your first steps with the guitar, working on your favourite songs, building a vocabulary for improvisation, or trying to build on your songwriting, all abilities and ages are welcome!
Students have the option to work towards grades with popular courses such as Trinity Rock & Pop, and Rock School, and Cain has maintained a 100% pass rate on all exam entries for over 8 years.
Cain’s passion for teaching stems from the difficulties he faced in his early years with the instrument and a desire to help people through that to find the joy of playing. No two students are the same so lessons are one to one and planned around a students goals and experience. Cain’s years spent working with other musicians and playing in various settings means he is an adaptable and patient teacher.
